Registration

To attend to the COOL09 workshop you have to register yourself to the workshop and submit an abstract. You also should pay attention to your accommodation.

Workshop Registration

The regular registration fee is 500.00 €. The early registration fee is 450.00 €, if you pay before July 31, 2009. The registration fee includes:

  • Attendance at all sessions
  • All materials of the workshop including the proceedings and the book of abstracts
  • The workshop coffee breaks and lunch buffet through Monday to Thursday
  • Get-together reception(Sunday evening), conference banquet (Wednesday)
  • Technical tour of the IMP facilities
  • Conference excursion to a local museum and riverside of the Yellow River
  • Transport between the hotel and Lanzhou airport(70km)

    • The reduced registration fee can only be paid by bank transfer. Payments must be made in Euros. Payments (late registration fee 500.- €) can be made at the conference desk on Sunday and Monday by cash or credit card (VISA or MASTER ).

    The registration fee for each accompany person is 250- €, which includes get-together reception, conference banquet, lunch through Monday to Thursday, the  conference excursion to a local museum and riverside of the Yellow River, transport between Lanzhou airport and the hotel, and a guided tour to nearby attractions.

    Please note that any bank fees incurred as a result of electronically transferred payments are the sole responsibility of the participants. The workshop bank account is:

    Abstract Submission

    Every submitting author, co-author, or speaker must be the owner of a JACoW profile prior to submitting an abstract. The abstract submission is closed since July 5, 2009. For details please click on Author Information.

    Workshop Hotel

    Please book by yourself in the workshop hotel. The payment for the hotel can be made on check-in.

    Visa

    Each registered COOL09 workshop participant will receive an invitation letter for the visa application from IMP with an official VISA APPLICATION FORM. The participants should apply for visa at Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their resident countries. Please find the useful information of visa issue at the official website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China (http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/eng/ljzg/3647/default.htm).

    The invitation letter does not imply any undertaking to support the participant financially.

    Participants who have to apply for visa are requested to contact the workshop secretary by email to COOL09@impcas.ac.cn before July 24, 2009. The secretary will prepare an invitation for visa application. The invitation does not imply any undertaking to support the participant financially.

    Insurance

    Attendants of the workshop have to take care of proper health and personal liability insurance. No responsibility can be taken by the organizers.
